 Facial Skincare AdviceIt is important to start a facial skincare regime at a young age to help keep the skin smooth, soft and wrinkle free as we get older. However, many of us were unaware of the benefits a daily skincare regime, protection from the sun and regular spa or salon facials could have in our youth, but are keen to start. It is defiantly better late than never to look after your skin… There are several steps we feel important to maintaining a healthy complexion, relaxing and having that all important ‘me’ time in the luxury of your own bathroom. How to create the perfect at home spa facial regime… |  Step 1 Relax Light some scented candles in your bathroom, close the door and dim the lights creating a warm, cosy spa ambience. |  Step 2 Prepare Fill your basin with clean warm water in preparation for your at home spa treatment regime. |  Step 4 Exfoliate Why? Exfoliation improves the skin's appearance by removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Removing excess dead skin cells can reveal the younger and healthier-looking skin underneath. How Often?
You should exfoliate the skin 2-3 times a week after cleansing. Which Products?
Exfoliants for you to choose from… Spa Find Sea Sand Scrub- Suitable for most skin types, has small sand particles.
Spa Find Deep Peeling Cream- Great for sensitive skins who can not tolerate scrubs with granules.
Dead Sea Spa Magik Mild Exfoliant- Suitable for all skin types. What do I do?
Add chosen exfoliant to the palm of your hands and add warm water. In a similar process to cleansing, massage the product in small circular movements over your face, paying greater attention to congested areas. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry. |  Step 5 Mask Why? Masks provide deep facial cleansing, removing all impurities. They also moisturise and hydrate the skin, leaving you with a silky smooth finish. Many masks contain active anti-ageing ingredients to prevent wrinkles and fine lines occurring.
How Often?
You should apply a mask to the face once or twice a week after exfoliation. Which Products?

Having exfoliated your face, apply your chosen mask to the face using your fingertips, avoiding the delicate eye area. How long you need to keep the mask on for depends on which mask you have used, directions for application may also slightly vary, so be sure to read the directions on the back of the product for instructions. Leaves mask on for required time then rinse face with warm water and pat dry. |  Step 6 Intensive Treatment Why? Extracts can be used as an instensive treatment for the skin to give a boost when needed. They have high levels of active ingredients to give immediate, noticeable resuts when you need them.
How Often?
Extracts can be used in one of two ways...
1. When the skin is in need of a boost i.e. during the Summer months the skin may become oilier than usual due to external factors, and may be in need of intensive action.
2. At certain times of the month i.e. when the progesterone levels are high, the Extracts may be used to combat oily skin prior/during to your period. Use morning and evening Which Products?

Extracts should be used under a moisturiser in the mornings and evenings, for as long as needed until oil levels have balanced. Simply add extracts to the palm of your hand and massage into your face, paying particular attenion into problem areas. |  Step 7 Moisturise Why? Moisturising keeps your skin nourished and hydrated. In addition to this moisturisers have several additional effects, including building a barrier against the loss of water through the skin, repairing scaly, damaged or dry areas, repairing, and helping to prevent the aging effects on the skin. How Often?
You need to moisturise your facial twice daily, morning and evening after thoroughly cleansing. This is the last step in your daily spa facial regime. Which Products?

Apply moisturiser to your finger and massage over a dry face, avoiding the delicate eye area. Let the minerals penetrate your skin and the minerals work their magic! |  Step 8 Extras Why? Problem or acne skins will benefit from using an anti-bacterial gel or cream to spots or whiteheads. This will reduce inflammation and prevent bacteria from spreading, stopping spots in their tracks! How Often?
